Capturing Today's Moments: Creating Tomorrow's Memories

September 7, 2014
Where I work.
This is my half of our new office aka our youngest daughters bedroom. She is off to college and more than likely will not be home again since she has an apartment now and will be staying in Austin during the summers. Instead of letting the space sit empty, my husband and I converted her room into our office. She said she was totally fine with each - every time we asked her, which was probably like a dozen times. The only thing she asked was that we not paint it. She spent a lot of time painting teal and brown stripes on the walls. The brown is about a foot above the teal.. can't see it in this photo.
When we get the 3 canvas collage/print for the wall behind me I will photograph my husbands work space and share it as well.
So..... where do you work?

on September 7, 2014Nice space to work in, love the colors. I did the same thing when my daughter moved out to go to college many years ago. But I've been in my current home for about 6 years, and my 'workspace' is in the kitchen. My real workspace is in a typical office in Dallas, and when I'm on the road in Birmingham, I work in open benched type space.

on September 7, 2014Fun, challenging question. I'll have to take a picture and post it once my area is set up. I have moved twice since late May and I'm not sure if I want to keep my office area where it is in this house.
September is prostate cancer awareness month. I am challenging everyone in the daily community to post an image that is predominately blue on Sunday, Sept. 28th. The goal is to turn the community blue for one day.
