on April 1, 2009This is a lovely shot! You gotta LOVE Disney World! One of my favorite places in the world. :-) This shot here is probably my favorite in your Epcot gallery -- of course, it is also my favorite pavilion in all of Epcot. Beautiful composition, great clarity and I love the combination of colors here! Gorgeous, my friend, gorgeous.
In response to your inquiry about HDR:
First, what program are you using? I have found that PhotoMatix Pro is the best to create your basic HDR images, it's fast and you can still manipulate things to your own specifications. Most people I know who do HDR use that program, and maybe later add some other stuff through PhotoShop (haven't tried that part yet, but I'm still in the process of even learning how to use PS!) But whichever program you're using, experiment and have fun and try lots of stuff until you find your "perfect formula." Figure out what works for you.
Secondly, don't go overboard with it. People often go WAAAAY too much into the process and it ends up looking cartoony. I also (personally) think that people look terrible in HDR effects. If people are in your architecture shot or something, that's different, but I hate it when photographers do portrait shots in HDR, I think it looks silly.
Good luck with your efforts, I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
